The offered courses

The session always begins with a joint mobilization phase and muscle awakening to help the student tune in with their current physical state and be attentive to their sensations. The focus is on breathing, which is the key in Pilates, as well as engaging the core.

The core of the session alternates between different exercises selected based on the course’s objective, with varying intensity depending on the student’s needs (fitness, physical preparation, or body shaping) or the level of the group class. This is done in a more or less playful manner, accompanied by music that resonates with the student.

The goal is to activate all muscle chains or target those that may not be adequately engaged in everyday life to achieve better balance.

The session concludes with stretching exercises and a brief relaxation to soothe the mind.

Starting from November 2023.

Depending on your goal (well-being or specific objective) and your body type, I use various techniques. Postural stretching, dynamic, ballistic, contract-relax, are all methods I employ to help you gain joint flexibility and muscle elasticity. The session always begins with a warm-up, and the focus on breathing is central.

This is the perfect activity if you want to improve your classical dance practice or enjoy a gentle physical activity that combines grace, strength, flexibility, musicality, and coordination. Barre au sol allows you to work on body alignment and silhouette length, revisiting the exercises from a classical dance class’s barre work. I adapt to your goals in private lessons, offer different levels in group classes, and enjoy creating exercises of varying intensities to a variety of musical backgrounds, with the aim of working the body as a whole.

Although a classical dance class follows a specific order, I place the student at the center of it all to adapt to their needs and issues based on the predefined goals. I don’t hesitate to begin with floor barre exercises to further prepare the student for work at the ballet barre and help them follow their progression. I also emphasize the importance of musicality, a fundamental aspect of classical dance, and the artistic dimension of the practice. Home exercises may also be assigned as part of private lessons or for competition preparation.
